Business Meeting At Warndon - October 12Ralph Richardson unfortunately couldn’t be there so Val Sibley became Acting Chairwoman and Pat Parminter took notes. We discussed recent meetings, the forthcoming Christmas lunch and Fotheringhay carol service, and next year’s programme.
I explained what had been happening following Geoffrey Richardson’s expulsion from the Society and members asked for a brief outline of the main points to be circulated.
Afterwards we gorged ourselves on the wonderful array of goodies everyone had brought to share. We held our usual raffle, sold crosswords and Jane Tinklin took orders for the beautiful Christmas cards featuring Little Malvern Priory. Tickets for the Christmas lunch were on sale at £5 each. Members also had time to look at the huge range of books in the branch library.
