Medieval Finds In Worcestershire

Two beautiful fourteenth century brooches have been found near Tewkesbury. A gold brooch was found near Eldersfield, and a silver one near Longdon. Hopefully they will eventually be on display at the County Museum in Hartlebury.

The remains of the fifteenth century bridge over the River Severn have been uncovered in Bewdley.

A medieval cellar was discovered in Worcester High Street and will be fully excavated.
