Arms And Armour Of The Medieval Knight - September 10

Dilip Sarkar came to Inkberrow together with his wife Karen who acted as his squire as he donned a full suit of armour. Each item was fully described as he put it on. It was a warm afternoon so not a good time to be wearing armour. Afterwards he posed for photographs outside and answered questions. It was essential for a knight to have someone who knew what they were doing to help him arm.

Karen brought copies of her painting of the melee at Tewkesbury and we brought a copy for the branch. £5 from each print sold goes to Tewkesbury Battlefield Society.
