AGM - April 13

The AGM was held in the Tapestry Room at Beoley Church. The committee stays the same as does the £7 annual membership. It was agreed to charge £4 for indoor meetings when we have a visiting speaker, and to increase the raffle ticket price to £1 for 5 numbers.

A trip to Leicester to see the Richard III exhibition in the new visitor centre is planned for next year. The Christmas meeting might change to 7 December if enough members decide to visit Fotheringhay for the carol service on the 14th.

We celebrated the finding of the remains of King Richard III in style with a glass of champagne each for a loyal toast, followed by a selection of delicious cakes.
